About Shannon …

My approach to coaching and counseling begins with a deep practice of presence, compassion and supportive honesty, as my clients navigate life challenges with the intention to feel more peace of mind, possibilities and healing. My heartfelt passion is to help my clients reconnect with their joy, sense of aliveness and empowerment, which in turn nurtures and clarifies key areas of their lives, including life purpose, health and healing, relationships, and more. My approach has been shaped over more than two decades of professional development, personal transformation and spiritual growth.

I began my career as a clinic counselor, working within non- organizations to support individuals and families going through some of life’s most challenging situations such as homelessness, addictions, and abuse.  That experience taught me the value of understanding, real presence and practical therapeutic tools for healing. It also showed me the inspiring potential of the human spirit and resiliency.

As my work expanded, I ventured into the world of life coaching, completing 2 years of training with an ICF accredited program in 2004.  As a coach I began to blend my more traditional training in counseling with more expansive frameworks, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Joe Dispenza, Joe Vitale, Marci Shimoff, Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay.

I had the honor of being one of a handful of global coaches working with clients all over the world as a Miracles Coach through the movie The Secret.  The Secret was pivotal in my career – it opened my eyes to how our subconscious beliefs and unseen patterns / blocks really shape our reality, often limiting our freedom, healing, peace and our highest potential.  I saw how powerful this work was with my clients and I knew this deep and transformative approach would be with me forever.

I brought this work into the corporate world at Intel.  It was there that I coached my clients on wellness, as I am also certified as a Nutritionist, but in general our work focused more on supporting their mental and emotional well-being in areas such as professional / personal relationships. The corporate world is a high performance place that lends itself towards burnout for many including its leaders – so much of my work was coaching management and leadership in how to show up fully for their lives but also their staff.

My work is also Spiritual.   I’m trained through Unity Global in Spiritual Direction and Counseling. I enjoy weaving a sense of a higher purpose and meaning within my work.   I find this work particularly meaningful because the “lights come on” in people when they see and clear subconscious patterning and imprints and tap into more of their deeper inner essence and higher Self.  This process creates true life alignment, vision and clarity.

Whether I’m working one-on-one, leading groups, or speaking to larger audiences, my mission is always the same:  to guide people into greater clarity, freedom, and alignment with who they truly are.
